The Helen Clark years were a long and unforgettable nightmare, but three years on there are at last are some positive things to be said. I find, to no little amazement, that there are four things I like about Helen Clark.
They are these:
* She is no longer our Prime Minister.
* She no longer lives in New Zealand.
* She has not written an autobiography - or, if she has, we have been spared it thus far.
* We no longer hear very much from her. (Presumably she has been keeping her distance because the Labour Party is a shambles and her protege, Chris Carter, is an embarrassment to everyone except himself.)
Having realised that it wasn't all negative I set out this morning to make this a list of ten things I like about Helen Clark. Sadly, four is as many as I have been able to come up with. Feel free to add any that you can think of.
