I love the news stories we get from Australia. Here is one of the latest:
The Indian Government has told Australians that they're a bunch of arseholes because they have been murdering Indians. Apparently, the Indians believe that making public statements to the effect that Australians are arseholes will help to ensure that fewer Indians will be murdered in Australia in future.
I have very strong doubts about the efficacy of this policy. In fact, I feel that its effect is likely to be the reverse of that intended. All of which suggests that whoever in the Indian Government is orchestrating this campaign is both a fool and a menace to public safety.
